Behind the camera

I have recently retired and now have the time to expand my photography hobby in new directions. My sister Darla and I both inherited an interest in photography from our father who rarely found himself without a camera nearby. My sister was blessed with dad’s camera skills and has been an inspiration to me over the years.  

In the last few years, my sister’s love of sports photography has inspired me to get more involved as well. Depending on conditions, it can be very challenging and it is always rewarding. Even with the challenges it is a great deal of fun.  

I have also developed an interest in Astro Photography. Hence the moon reference of course. So expect to see more Astro related projects in the future. Hope you enjoy the photos.
